There are two tyopes of internet technology for teaching and learning. One supports online discussion and collaboration for interactive internet learning. The other supports the deployment of online learning materials - for didactic internet learning.
Both are described as e-learning or online learning and we argue that both should be constructive.

Adobe Flex is a development environment for Flash applications. If you are a teacher or a student you can get a free copy of Flash Builder, which is actually Flex.
You can download the trial version of Flash Builder from the Adobe website and get a free educational license that converts it to a full installation. Then try the examples published in this magazine.
This is a short example of a Flex program to produce a simple graphics presentation system. It can be used online, for internet teaching or, alternatively, to support a 'real' personal presentation. You can easily modify it to meet your own needs.
The program is written in MXML code which is very easy to use.
